The internet is buzzing with speculation that Sophie Turner and Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin may be dating.

The Daily Mail reports that the Game of Thrones actress, 29, and the 48-year-old musician recently went on what sources described as a “secret date” in London, shortly after both ended long-term relationships.

Turner reportedly called it quits with her aristocrat boyfriend, Peregrine “Perry” Pearson, after nearly two years together.

Insiders told the Daily Mail that the two were seen arguing at a high-society wedding in late September before officially parting ways. Meanwhile, Chris Martin is said to have split from his long-time partner, American actress Dakota Johnson, in June after nearly eight years together and an engagement.

According to the report, Turner and Martin’s meeting came just a week after her breakup with Pearson. The pair were spotted together at a private London restaurant, sparking widespread speculation online.

While neither Turner nor Martin has commented publicly, sources close to the actress claim she is “not dwelling on her split” and that she and the Coldplay singer “have a lot in common and an easy connection.”

Turner, best known for her role as Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, has had a highly publicised personal life. She was previously married to musician Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers. The couple wed in 2019 and share two daughters, Willa and Delphine. They finalised their divorce in September 2024, about a year after Jonas filed for separation.

The Daily Mail also reported that Turner has long been a fan of Coldplay. In a resurfaced clip from Joe Jonas’s travel show Cup of Joe, she appeared emotional after receiving a surprise birthday video from Martin, organised by Jonas in 2020.

“I’m not going to cry on camera,” Turner said at the time, holding back tears as Martin wished her well on behalf of the band.

While Turner appears to have moved on, her former boyfriend, Pearson, has reportedly been seen with a new companion.

The heir to the Cowdray estate in West Sussex was spotted at a London nightclub with a woman described as having a “remarkable resemblance” to Turner.

As of now, neither Turner’s representatives nor Martin’s team has confirmed the relationship.
