The unedited footage, first obtained by TMZ, appears to reveal previously unseen details of the 2016 incident at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles — the same incident that triggered public outcry and led to renewed legal scrutiny.
The video shows Combs violently attacking Ventura, including scenes where hotel staff intervene shortly after the assault.
In court, prosecutors replayed segments of this footage while Ventura was on the stand. When asked by the prosecution to describe what she saw, she confirmed that Combs appeared without anything in his hand at first, later grabbing her phone, and sitting down while she walked away.
What’s the latest in the Diddy trial?
On her second day of testimony, Cassie detailed years of abuse and coercion, explaining the mental and physical toll the relationship took on her.
“I did that [fought back] more earlier in the relationship. It would make him more violent,” she said.
“He wanted me to fear—” she added, before being cut off by an objection, which the judge overruled.
Cassie testified that Combs not only subjected her to violent attacks but also manipulated her using explicit videos of so-called “freak offs”—a term used in the trial to describe forced group sexual encounters.
She said Combs would threaten to release the videos if she did not comply with his demands.
“One time I was dating someone else and he threatened to release the freak off videos. I’d have to answer to my mother… It’s horrible and disgusting. No one should do that to anyone,” she told the court.
Describing one of the lowest points in their relationship, Ventura recounted taking drugs such as GHB and opiates to cope with the repeated abuse.
“I’d take opiates. I wanted to feel numb,” she testified.
“I got Urinary Tract Infections… burning… I would not advise it.”
She also described a moment when Combs played the freak-off videos on his laptop during a flight.
“He said he’d release them,” she said, adding that it made her feel “trapped.”
The video leak has added further weight to Ventura’s testimony, drawing attention from both the public and legal commentators as the case unfolds.
The trial continues with Ventura’s cross-examination expected in the coming days.
