The trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs continues Wednesday with testimony expected from Los Angeles first responders and two key witnesses, Mia and Nash, tied to the events surrounding the 2011 firebombing of Scott Mescudi’s (Kid Cudi) Porsche.
What to expect from Day 11 of the Diddy trial
Testimony will likely expand on how law enforcement responded to the scene, how the investigation unfolded, and may explore Cassie Ventura’s emotional state during the incident through quoted messages, according to legal arguments heard in court.
The court is also expected to further address disputes surrounding the destroyed fingerprint cards related to the Porsche fire, following objections from Combs’ legal team.
These materials were confirmed as destroyed in 2012 by a member of LAPD, according to testimony from the LA fire investigator.

What the court has heard thus far
Day 10 of the trial was dominated by extended testimony from Capricorn Clark, a former employee of Combs. Clark described a pattern of alleged abuse, surveillance, and coercion during her employment.
She claimed she was held for five days in a locked building where she underwent repeated lie detector tests over missing jewellery. Clark testified she was threatened with being thrown into the East River if she failed the test.
Clark also testified to incidents where Combs allegedly forced her to procure drugs across various cities, including New York and in Europe. She detailed several violent encounters, including an instance where she said Combs pushed her repeatedly during a dispute and threatened her life on multiple occasions.
Clark recalled being present during alleged assaults against Cassie Ventura and described efforts to prevent witnesses, including Kid Cudi, from contacting authorities.
The defence cross-examined Clark aggressively, probing her prior communications with Combs and challenging inconsistencies in her statements.
Clark acknowledged past efforts to reconcile with Combs, including a 2015 message seeking forgiveness, and admitted to requesting a position as his chief of staff as recently as 2024.
Testimony also included a detailed account of a night when Combs allegedly took Clark with him to confront Kid Cudi over his relationship with Ventura.
Clark claimed Combs brought a firearm and threatened violence. The confrontation allegedly escalated to physical abuse of Ventura later that day.
