Social media influencer Ash Kash has spoken publicly for the first time about a traumatic chapter in her past—the leak of intimate videos recorded when she was just 19.

During a candid Snapchat Q&A session, Kash shared how the videos were circulated without her consent when she turned 20, leading to a period of deep emotional distress and long-term personal consequences.
Kash explained that her rise to internet fame was built on a carefully maintained sense of mystery.
“I blew up on the internet because of my eyes and how I looked. No one heard my voice. No one knew anything about me. I was the most private person,” she said.
That privacy was suddenly and forcefully taken away when the videos surfaced online.
The leak not only disrupted her public image but triggered a profound mental health struggle.
“When it first happened, I did not handle it good. I was severely depressed for almost three to five months. I wasn’t eating, all I did was sleep. I didn’t talk to anyone. I never left my room, never left the house,” she revealed.
Kash described the isolation that followed and the difficulty of navigating public judgment while dealing with private pain.
She emphasised the betrayal she felt, particularly since the individual who leaked the content was someone not publicly known.
“What makes it worse is because the girl who leaked it, no one knows who this chick is. Or the guy. The guy didn’t leak it, but the girl did. She has no name for herself on social media, so no one gives a f*** about her,” she said.
Kash also acknowledged that the experience affected her ability to trust others, especially in relationships, stating the leak had a lasting impact on her dating life.
