Team SA at Paris Olympics: How are we doing so far?
Tatjana Smith is set to make history at the 2024 Paris Olympics. After securing gold in the 100m breaststroke, she now aims to add another gold in the 200m breaststroke, which would make her South Africa’s most successful Olympian.
Smith has already won two gold medals and a silver, matching Chad le Clos in total medals but surpassing him in golds if she wins.
In the men’s 200m backstroke, Pieter Coetze has also impressed by qualifying third fastest for the final.
