Video footage is doing the rounds on social media showing a man believed to be involved with a kidnapping syndicate assassinated in broad daylight in Fordsburg, JHB, on Thursday.

Fordsburg shooting: Here’s what we know
Reports of the shooting were confirmed by renowned crime reporter Yusuf Abramjee who, in a tweet, revealed that a Pakistani national thought to be involved, in some capacity, with a kidnapping syndicate, was shot in the head, at point-blank range, outside a popular wholesalers on Thursday afternoon.

The unidentified victim died on the scene and at the time this article was published, police had cordoned off the area for evidence collecting.
